Last July 2013 we had the opportunity to participate at Medialab-Prado Summer Camp in Madrid. We run a 16 hours workshop during the first 15 days of July to introduce children to electricity, 3D printing and electronics. We use the Oblobots as a tool to communicate some of the concepts in the programm. Below there are some images of the Oblobot 4 hours workshop we run. Enjoy!
Oblobot! project was born in 2012, the aim of the project was to protype an object as a tool to run a workshop on 3D printing and electricity for children. The first time we experienced children reactions to 3D Printing and conductive plasticine with Oblobots was during the Utopic_us Day 2012 at the Utopic_us coworking space in Madrid. It was a wonderfull experience where we had the opportunity to test all our ideas about how children will interact with our prototype. The results were really excited as you can see below and at the Oblobot Workshop page.
